Finding the right solution to a client's problem requires a blend of experience, facts, and law. You must have all three. You can have the facts and the law, but especially with government, you must also know how the system works.

Most clients want objective advice from an experienced attorney. They want the attorney they have chosen to be the one who advises them, and represents them. They do not want their attorney simply delivering conclusions from an apprentice level associate who did the research. Increasingly, corporations contractually identify a specific firm attorney or attorneys who are allowed to work on their matters.  There is good reason for that.
